Standard ZER rooms use shipping containers as the structural foundation because they are engineered for strength, movement and repeated deployment. Their standard dimensions and certified lifting points support transport, placement and future relocation across demanding operating environments.

From that base, ZER designs each room as a complete operational facility. The layout, internal services, power system and finishes are configured around the people using the space, the work it supports and the conditions it will face.

The container provides the platform; the finished facility is the product. Where a requirement calls for a different approach, ZER can also design and manufacture custom facilities using alternative construction methods and structural platforms.

We developed ZER through our experience supporting our own people in remote and demanding environments. Our teams needed facilities that could handle the same conditions they faced each day and provide a protected place to work, rest and access essential amenities.



We design every ZER as a complete operating system, with the room, power and internal services working together from the outset.

We design the room, solar generation, battery storage, air conditioning and internal fit-out as one complete facility. Every component works together from the outset, rather than relying on separate services added after delivery.

We configure it for its role
Occupancy, internal equipment, energy demand and site conditions determine how we configure each ZER. We also specify its structural, thermal, fire, acoustic and weather performance for Australian industrial environments.

We remain accountable across deployment

Our team manages each ZER from configuration and construction to delivery and commissioning. Under hire, we retain responsibility for ongoing maintenance and annual inspections, with site obligations agreed before deployment.
